Back to work

The time has come—I'm broke. But who says refilling your pockets can't be an experience in itself? As the zero on my bank account crept closer, I started brainstorming my options. A work-and-travel program seemed like the most obvious choice.

The catch? I'm no longer in my twenties, and most countries have age limits for these programs. But there was hope: Canada allows people to work and travel until their mid-thirties. So, after a bit of bureaucratic hassle, I got the work permit.

This adventure in Canada is also a test run: can I really sustain a long-term traveling lifestyle? One thing’s clear—I'll need to shift fields and find a job that allows me to work seasonally and across language barriers.

Let’s see if I manage to pull it off.
